Job summary

Savills is seeking an experienced Estate and Block Manager to lead the continuous delivery of Leaseholder management, service charge and estates facilities across residential assets in London’s BTR sector.

You will hold full accountability for service charge budgeting, cashflow, and reporting, ensuring reactive and scheduled maintenance, health & safety, and compliance across assets while coordinating with Housing Associations and Savills teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Estate and Block management roles.
• IOSH or NEBOSH accreditation.
• Ability to prepare detailed Service Charge Budgets.
• Experience in providing institutional grade reporting to clients.
• Strong problem solving and service streamlining abilities.
• Experience in utility management.
• Understanding of Health and Safety best practice.
• Excellent problem solving and logical mindset.
• 3rd party contractor management.
• Hard & soft service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on notices of works including s20 notices where required.
• Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day service charges and accounts.
• Ensure compliance with occupier lease obligations for Landlord and Tenants.
• Manage the financials of service charge estates: budget, accruals, cashflow and reporting.
• Host quarterly meetings with Housing Associations to discuss updates and issues.
• Oversee contract management and validate value and quality of work by suppliers.
• Lead on setting and delivering annual service charge budgets.
• Deliver budget vs actual reporting with strong expenditure knowledge.
• Ensure Estate Services are compliant and deliver strong customer service.
