Job summary

Hyperion Partners is seeking an experienced Block Manager to oversee a prestigious portfolio of residential developments in Central London. You will manage leaseholders, RMCs, RTMs and directors while maintaining high service standards and regulatory compliance.

You will build strong stakeholder relationships, coordinate budgets, supervise maintenance and major works, and ensure safety and quality across premium assets.

Qualifications

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Block Manager looking to manage premium assets while working within a collaborative and professional environment.

Core focus of the role

As Block Manager, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of residential developments, ensuring that each property is managed to the highest standard. You will build strong relationships with leaseholders, Resident Management Companies (RMCs), Right to Manage (RTM) companies, directors, contractors and professional advisers, delivering an exceptional level of customer service and regulatory compliance.

Day-to-day of the role

• Managing a portfolio of residential developments across London.
• Preparing and managing service charge budgets alongside finance teams.
• Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.
• Managing contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, value and compliance.
• Overseeing planned maintenance programmes and major works projects.
• Managing Section 20 consultation processes from start to completion.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and property regulations.
• Working closely with surveyors, consultants and external stakeholders on building safety matters.
• Responding promptly and professionally to client and resident enquiries.

Skills you need

We are keen to speak with experienced Block Managers who have a strong understanding of residential leasehold management and are confident managing complex developments.

To Be Considered, You Should Have

• Previous experience as a Block Manager managing a residential portfolio.
• Demonstrable experience managing High-Rise Residential Buildings (HRBs).
• Proven experience overseeing Section 20 major works projects.
• Experience managing new build residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of current residential property legislation and building safety requirements.
• Experience working with RTM companies, RMCs and leaseholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential.
