We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Lead Bridge Engineer to join our Amey Consulting team in Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, with shared office space, attending when necessary, and remaining days working remotely. We welcome applications from Lead Engineers across this region.
Our Amey Consulting Structures Team is involved in designing some of the largest civil engineering and associated infrastructure projects across Scotland, with cumulative values in excess of £1bn.
Amey manages both the Southwest and Northeast Trunk Road Network Management contracts, awarded in 2020 and 2022 respectively. These are 8-year contracts, extendable up to 12 years. We also have a diverse portfolio of major roads, bridges, and transportation and civil design projects with Transport Scotland, Local Authorities, and contractors nationwide.
These long-term contracts offer excellent opportunities for technical, engineering, and professional development at all career stages to be involved in some of Scotland’s most exciting engineering projects.
Our Lead Bridge Engineers are key members of the Design team, working alongside Transport Scotland. As a Lead Senior Engineer, you will support your Design Team Leader on various Civil schemes, lead projects, and mentor junior designers.
