Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Bricklayer Site Manager in Glasgow to represent the Head Contractor on a fire remediation project. You will oversee the bricklaying subcontractor, manage daily site activities, and ensure high-quality brickwork and safety compliance.

The role requires a bricklaying background, SMSTS, First Aid, and strong oversight of subcontractors. Phase 1 involves removing and replacing approx 1000 bricks, with potential further phases based on plan progression.

Qualifications

• A bricklaying background or deep understanding of brickwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bricklaying works and ensure quality of brickwork.
• Manage daily site activities and reporting to Contracts Manager.
• Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions to maintain safety compliance.
• Monitor progress against the programme and coordinate with the subcontractor.
• Ensure works meet required standards and quality checks.
• Coordinate with the project team to resolve issues and risks.
