Qualifications

• Previous management experience within a busy bodyshop or accident repair environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to improve workshop efficiency and productivity.
• Good understanding of modern vehicle repair methods and processes.
• Ability to make confident decisions and solve problems under pressure.
• Passion for delivering high-quality repairs and outstanding customer service.
• ATA accreditation or experience in a manufacturer-approved repair centre is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of a high-volume accident repair workshop.
• Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Support and manage the Workshop Controller and departmental supervisors.
• Oversee workflow to ensure smooth progression through all repair stages.
• Maintain high standards to reduce rework and claims.
• Conduct regular production meetings and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Motivate, develop, and manage the performance of workshop staff.
• Collaborate with departments including estimating, parts, and quality control.
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and fulfilment of customer commitments.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and ongoing enhancement.
