Job summary

Crown House Technologies – Enterprise Solutions, part of Laing O\'Rourke, is seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to lead the integration and commissioning of a fully integrated BEMS on a high-profile Data Centre project in the UK. You will coordinate with MEP teams, manage software and graphics, and take ownership of commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering BEMS/BMS systems on live projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of BEMS and building controls.
• Hands-on experience with BACnet and Modbus protocols.
• Ability to develop and troubleshoot BMS software and graphics.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Valid CSCS or ECS site card.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the BEMS scope as part of the project team.
• Manage BMS scope interface with M&E systems.
• Produce and review design docs (FDS, points schedules, interface matrices).
• Oversee BEMS software and graphics development.
• Support commissioning and point-to-point testing.
• Coordinate BEMS integration with MEP systems.
• Assist project handover to ensure fully operational BEMS.

Proven track record of delivering BEMS

Exceptional technical knowledge of BMS

BACnet

Modbus

Developing and troubleshooting BMS SW/

Excellent communication skills

CSCS/ECS site card

Education

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification including full electrical apprenticeship or equivalent
