Job summary

Hoare Lea is seeking a seasoned BMS Principal Engineer to join the Digital Solutions Group. You will provide expert design support and consultancy for building management systems and associated control technologies across diverse projects.

You will engage clients to understand requirements, prepare specifications, and communicate complex concepts with clear diagrams and reports. Strong knowledge of BMS functionality, major manufacturers and integration with ICT and building systems is essential.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of BMS functionality, major BMS manufacturers and control systems.
Knowledge of ICT, IoT, cybersecurity and audiovisual systems is advantageous.
Ability to prepare reports, specifications, design notes and commissioning documentation.

Responsibilities

Provide expert advice, design support and technical consultancy across building management systems.
Engage with clients to understand requirements and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Support evaluation and optimisation of BMS installations to improve energy efficiency and reliability.
