InvestCloud, a global wealth technology leader, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape, design, and deliver foundational backend capabilities for a greenfield platform. You’ll work closely with Principal Engineers on architecture, security, and engineering culture, delivering high-quality Go services on AWS with PostgreSQL as a core data store.

You will own features end-to-end, contribute to architecture discussions, and help define the platform's target state while embracing AI tooling

Formación

• Significant experience as a Senior Software Engineer and operating backend systems in production.
• Deep experience in at least one modern backend language (Go, Java, C#, etc.), with day-to-day Go work.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, service design, and API design.
• Practical experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL: schema design, performance, migrations.
• Track record of owning problems end-to-end with stakeholders and delivering production software.
• Comfortable evaluating AI tooling in workflow while maintaining quality.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build backend services for the platform, primarily in Go, on AWS with Postgres as core data store.
• Own features end-to-end from design through deployment and operational support.
• Define and evolve target state architecture: service boundaries, data models, integration patterns, reliability/observability.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and other teams to integrate with upstream and downstream systems.
• Improve engineering practices: testing, code review, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response.
• Adopt AI tooling to accelerate discovery and implementation while upholding code quality.
