This role sits in the Engineer Foundation Platform team where we’re building and running cloud services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for HSBC Wealth and Personal Banking. You’ll help shape and evolve a large, globally distributed Kubernetes platform that hosts APIs, applications and event-driven services and enables thousands of developers to deliver business applications.
Working across DevOps pods you’ll set direction on engineering standards, automation and operational excellence in a highly regulated environment. Success means a platform that stays highly available, meets governance and architecture expectations and keeps pace with growing business demand. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Cloud Services, application teams and global IT to deliver outcomes that are secure, scalable and supportable.
