Qualifications

• Fully qualified actuary (ACAS/FCAS) with significant post‑qualification experience in reinsurance or advisory.

Responsibilities

• Design market‑leading analytical tools and methodologies to improve pricing accuracy and client outputs.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, providing actuarial insight into portfolio performance and risk dynamics.
• Support bespoke reinsurance program development to meet client objectives in risk mitigation and capital relief.
• Apply actuarial methods to price treaty reinsurance across perils and lines using exposure data and CAT outputs.
• Produce benchmark analyses to inform negotiations and enhance placement credibility with reinsurers.
• Collaborate with brokers to craft analytical placement narratives and support negotiations.
• Adapt modeling outputs to strengthen value proposition and market differentiation.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to capability building within analytics.
• Contribute to RFP responses, new business pursuits, and client engagement strategies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
