Job summary

Verkada is seeking an AV Engineer to be the primary AV presence for Europe and the US East Coast. You will own the health of office conference spaces, work with the AV Engineering and Workplace Teams, and travel for major builds across the US and Europe.

You will deliver high-quality, white-glove AV support, coordinate rack fabrication, cabling, and testing, and contribute to project documentation for smooth handoffs to operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years corporate AV experience.
• Significant hands-on installation work with AV systems.
• Experience with video conferencing platforms and hardware (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Neat).
• Working knowledge of IT networking as it applies to AV systems; AV-over-IP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary AV support resource for Europe and US East Coast/Central offices, monitoring room health and repairing AV systems.
• Provide white-glove AV support for executive meetings and high-visibility events in Europe and US regions.
• Lead on-site installation on office buildouts: rack fabrication, cabling, device mounting and testing.
• Document builds with as-builts, room records, and configuration notes for handoff to operations.
• Assist with commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades of AV hardware across deployed fleet.
• Perform daily room sweeps to ensure conference rooms are ready for use.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and Workplace Team during projects and daily operations.
