Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking an experienced AV Design Engineer to own projects from concept through to delivery. The role is Bolton-based, on-site three days a week, with hybrid working and clear progression opportunities.

You will design complete AV systems, produce schematics, rack layouts, cable schedules and bills of materials, and work with sales, project management, engineers and customers to ensure robust, install-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AV Design or AV Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, DSP and control systems
• Understanding of signal flow, system integration, and AV networking
• Experience producing technical drawings using Visio or similar software
• CTS, CTS-D, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Education sector experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Design complete AV systems from concept through to delivery
• Produce schematics, rack layouts, cable schedules, and bills of materials
• Support pre-sales activities and technical solution development
• Work closely with project teams to ensure designs are install-ready
• Support installation and commissioning activities when required
