Job summary

Aristocrat Gaming is seeking an Automation QA Lead to elevate our test automation strategy across mobile, web, API and microservices. This hybrid role requires three days in the London office and focuses on leading a multi-team QA effort, mentoring engineers, and aligning automation with cloud-based CI/CD pipelines.

You will drive continuous improvement in automation architecture, tooling adoption, and coding standards while staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to craft and integrate test automation frameworks using Selenium, Appium, and API automation.
• Experience leading multi-team testing initiatives in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Experience integrating automation within cloud-based CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with database or microservices testing.
• Experience with AI/ML within projects.
• Programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
• Technical leadership experience guiding and upskilling teams.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical area or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to travel offshore teams (≈5 days/year).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks.
• Support roadmap definition for automation projects.
• Evaluate and optimize test tooling, including AI-assisted solutions.
• Collaborate with QA, Development to streamline testing procedures.
• Mentor a team of test automation engineers across mobile, web, API, and microservices.
