Job summary

The Lead Automation Developer role sits within the Alliance Business Change Department and serves Devon & Cornwall Police and Dorset Police. It offers a flexible, hybrid-working approach with base at Dorset Police HQ Winfrith or Devon & Cornwall Police HQ Exeter.

You will provide technical leadership across the automation development lifecycle, architect and deliver complex automations, ensure quality and security, and mentor the automation team, reporting to the Automation Manager.

Qualifications

Lead the architectural design and development of complex automations with clear documentation.
Set and assure development standards, code quality, security and data protection.
Provide technical leadership in Blue Prism and related automation technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the architectural design and development of complex automations with clear documentation throughout the lifecycle.
Set and assure development standards, code quality, security and data protection.
Mentor Automation Developers & Controllers, promoting accreditation and continuous improvement.
Manage automation projects, track risks, budgets and delivery against specs.
