Job summary

ISOQAR in Newcastle, UK is seeking a Lead Auditor to join our Audit department. The role involves planning, conducting, and leading independent third-party audits for a diverse client base, delivering objective evidence and clear audit reports.

Successful candidates will participate in a 12-week training programme to qualify in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, with support from ISOQAR. Travel across the region, strong communication, and report-writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on operational experience in a relevant industry
• Strong communication skills and clear reporting
• Analytical thinking and methodical approach
• Ability to travel regionally and nationally, including overnight stays
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and lead independent, third-party audits
• Gather objective evidence and prepare clear, impartial audit reports
• Host opening and closing meetings to communicate findings
• Build and maintain professional client relationships
• Continue developing knowledge of industry and evolving standards
• Complete auditor training and achieve Lead Auditor qualifications (supported by ISOQAR)
