Job summary

DWS Group in London is seeking a Principal Auditor to strengthen our internal audit function. You will evaluate the adequacy of the control environment, lead audits across the DWS Group, and deliver high-quality reports to management.

You will collaborate with global teams, apply risk-based testing, and help advance the assurance framework within a leading asset manager. This is a challenging, international role with opportunities to shape controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Audit experience or equivalent professional experience at an asset manager / financial services company or audit firm.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or MBA; CFA/CIA/FRM certifications are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; knowledge of investment management products and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment under moderate supervision.
• Participate in local and global audit engagements, primarily in London/UK.
• Undertake multiple audit assignments and draft high-quality audit reports; track issues.
• Support risk-based audit planning with monitoring of divisions and controls.
• Develop consultative relationships with the audit team and stakeholders.
• Communicate audit results effectively at all levels of the organization.
