Job summary

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in audit.
• Strong technical grounding in audit and assurance.
• Experience managing engagement teams and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for planning, executing and completing audit engagements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client on day-to-day matters.
• Identify and evaluate audit risks, design audit strategy and ensure it is proportionate and defensible.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines and profitability; escalate overruns and agree scope changes with the client.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Assistant Managers and Associates.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Identify cross-service line opportunities and contribute to growth of the practice.
• Review financial statements for compliance with relevant legislation and disclosure requirements.
• Consult with Engagement Leaders and specialists on high-risk areas.
• Contribute to proposals and business development activity as required.
• Adhere to risk management policies and complete mandatory training.
• Maintain ongoing professional development and act with integrity.
