Job summary

Architecture Social is seeking an Associate Architect to lead commercial workplace and mixed-use projects in the UK. The role involves directing design teams, coordinating consultants and delivering high-quality construction information.

You will manage client relationships, drive project planning and contribute to QA processes while mentoring junior staff and advancing within a design-led practice.

Qualifications

• ARB-registered Architect with ~5 years PQE in a UK practice.
• Strong experience in commercial workplace, office refurbishment or mixed-use projects.
• Excellent technical and construction knowledge.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating multidisciplinary consultants.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Ambition to progress within a leading architectural practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of commercial workplace and mixed-use projects across a range of RIBA stages.
• Manage project teams, consultants and key stakeholders throughout the design and delivery process.
• Oversee the production of technical design packages and construction information.
• Act as a primary client contact, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Support project planning, resource management and programme coordination.
• Contribute to design reviews, quality assurance and project delivery strategies.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
• Help maintain and develop existing client relationships.
