Job summary

Experis is seeking an experienced Lead Architect to join a major cloud transformation programme. You will lead architecture and design across complex VMware environments, driving VCF upgrade programmes and guiding technical teams.

The role requires collaborating with global teams, running requirements and design workshops, reviewing solutions and governance, and ensuring architectural standards are met. UK travel is required and project timelines run to March 2027.

Qualifications

Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX.
Expertise in VCF operations and automation.
Strong knowledge of HCX, vSphere, and Kubernetes.
Proficient in Ansible, Salt, Harness and GitOps.
Demonstrated enterprise architecture and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and design across complex VMware environments.
Drive VCF upgrade programmes (5.x to 9.x).
Guide technical teams and stakeholders through design and delivery challenges.
Run requirements and design workshops.
Review solutions, governance docs and architectural standards.
