Job summary

Experis seeks a Lead Architect to drive a major cloud transformation. You will lead architecture and design across VMware environments, guide VCF upgrades, and coordinate global teams through complex delivery challenges.

The role requires strong Enterprise Architecture and technical leadership, with hands-on experience in NSX, Kubernetes, vSphere, and automation tools. Travel UK-wide may be required; this is a contract role under IR35.

Qualifications

Extensive experience designing VMware cloud architectures.
Strong NSX and virtualized networking design skills.
Proven track record leading large cloud transformation programs.

Responsibilities

Leading architecture and design activities across complex VMware environments
Driving VCF upgrade programmes (5.x to 9.x)
Guiding technical teams and stakeholders through design and delivery challenges
Running requirements and design workshops
Reviewing solutions, governance documentation and architectural standards
Working with global teams across multiple technologies and vendors
