Nixor is seeking Principal/Lead Architects with Life Insurance/Assurance industry knowledge to join a newly formed architecture team for the UK’s largest Mutual Pensions company. This role offers the opportunity to help transition from legacy systems to a modern microservices architecture.

About the Role

As a Lead Architect, you will own your domain, overseeing applications, cloud infrastructure, and services. You will help transform a legacy "spaghetti" architecture into a modern microservices-based architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight across your domain
• Collaborate with the board and senior stakeholders
• Lead the transition to microservices architecture
• Define and implement patterns for development, security, and observability
• Mentor junior architects and technical teams
• Serve as the technical contact for your business unit
