Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Engage with customers during various phases of the sales cycle to understand their specific design requirements and provide them with leading solutions.
2. Design and develop bespoke fluid handling products in collaboration with the product manager, aligned with product line strategy.
3. Lead design validation and qualification testing, plan research and development efforts, and manage subcontracted resources.
4. Collaborate with internal and customer engineers/technical teams to optimize material and design elements for sealing conditions, such as lubricant, materials, fluid level, shaft and housing hardness, surface finish, tolerance, chamfer, eccentricity, etc.
5. Work closely with R&D to develop new materials and formulations.
6. Conduct design validation activities for valves, including stress calculations, tolerance analysis, FEA, CFD, and other methodologies.
7. Support sales and marketing with product presentations and communications via webinars or customer visits.
8. Manage all aspects of product lifecycle, including integrating customer feedback.
9. Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies.
10. Travel may be required to UK sites and Romania.
11. Perform any additional work as reasonably requested by your line manager.
