Job summary

DCC Energy GB is seeking an Applications Manager to lead a central Applications function supporting solar PV, BESS, CHP and integrated energy solutions. You will bridge sales opportunities and technical delivery, prioritise work, and drive scalable, high‑performing processes across multiple businesses within the group.

The role focuses on operational leadership, resource management and process improvement to enable growth while ensuring robust proposals and efficient delivery across the energy

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing an engineering, technical applications, proposals, estimating, pre-construction or similar operational team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Applications function and prioritise requests from sales and operating businesses.
• Manage incoming demand across multiple businesses and technologies and align with delivery timelines.
• Coordinate site surveys, technical modelling and proposal development with commercial considerations.
• Ensure opportunities progress through the Applications process and monitor performance metrics.
• Provide direct people management for the Applications team and support career progression.
