The Team

As part of the Application Delivery function, the role will report to the Head of hosting and application services and will be responsible for leading and delivering global digital solutions to a wide range of departments across the company in conjunction with vendors and managed service providers.

This role is the application technical lead for cloud-based and on-premises solutions, providing expertise in delivering PaaS-based (platform as a service) services across the Power Platform and Azure. Developing data structures and business logic services required by digital front ends and off the shelf solutions. Provide tactical and strategic solutions alike, with existing technologies, whilst being able to keep abreast of the ever-changing landscape for new products, functions, and capabilities.

Role and Responsibilities

• The point person responsible for advising the business partners and their business community on the capabilities of this area of expertise and guide the development of requirements for fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Design, implement and test fully documented cloud software components to ensure solutions are secure, user friendly and effective while minimizing cost to the business.
• Governance of applications and automations to ensure they align with Mundipharma standards, are supportable and fit for purpose
• Research, assess and justify new solutions to fulfill business needs, where requirements need an innovative design with emerging technologies.
• Assess internal processes for simplification and develop automated solutions with a view to increasing efficiency and reducing support overheads.

What you’ll bring

• Experience leading the technical implementation of IT applications in a global organisation
• Proven track record of delivering Power Platform technologies such as PowerApps, Power Automate or RPA
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Powers Apps, Power Automate, Co-Pilot, Virtual Agents) is essential
• Ideally have Knowledge of Azure-based development using: Azure functions; Logic Apps; Azure App Services; Azure DevOps
• Ideally be competent with SQL queries primarily focused on Microsoft SQL Server
• Understanding of processes and governance when implementing IT systems
• Certifications such as Microsoft Power Platform Associate or Microsoft Azure Architect would be beneficial
• Understanding of CRMs such as Oracle or SAP HANA would be beneficial
