Orion Pharma in the Cambridge, UK area seeks a highly motivated Scientist to join the Antibody Discovery and Engineering group. You will lead platform advancement, oversee antibody architecture decisions, and collaborate across teams to implement design-driven experiments.

You will mentor scientists, stay at the forefront of antibody engineering, and manage external collaborations to deliver high-quality data for decision-making. This on-site role supports Orion Pharma’s R&D pipeline.

Formación

• Ph.D. in protein engineering or related subject area with 3+ years of industrial experience, or MSc with 5+ years of industrial experience in antibody discovery.
• Expertise in antibody architecture and format selection (IgG, Fab, multispecific, Fc-engineered).
• Hands-on with engineered/optimized antibodies and multispecific formats for diverse MOAs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead in advancing and optimizing the antibody engineering platform and generate novel antibody libraries.
• Provide oversight of antibody architecture, formats, and design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate experimental design.
• Mentor junior scientists and drive technical development.
• Identify and evaluate novel methods and technologies for potential adoption.
• Oversee reagent generation and management of external CROs and partners.
