Job summary

LabGenius Therapeutics in London seeks a kinetics expert to lead antibody binding characterization. You will design workflows using SPR and BLI to move from crude screening to clinical-grade lead optimization, feeding high-quality data to ML models.

Qualifications

• PhD in protein/antibody engineering or MSc with substantial wet-lab experience.
• Hands-on mastery of SPR (Biacore/Sierra) or BLI (Octet/Pioneer) and kinetic assay design.
• Experience in large-scale screening campaigns and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the internal antibody binding platform and select instrumentation to scale characterization.
• Lead high-resolution kinetic screening campaigns to determine kon, koff and KD.
• Perform epitope binning and mapping to ensure target coverage and support IP filings.
• Collaborate with Lab Automation to integrate liquid handling with BLI workflows for autonomous assays.
• Translate raw sensorgrams into clean datasets for ML/AI predictive models used in developability scoring.
• Design automated biophysical screening assays using 96- and 384-well formats.
• Analyze HTS data and feed biophysical data into predictive models for in silico developability scoring.
• QC analyse and troubleshoot developability experiments across R&D teams.
• Troubleshoot complex binding profiles and provide actionable insights to the engineering team.
• Maintain excellent experimental and data records for cross-functional teams.
• Organize time effectively to meet timelines across teams.
