Job summary

LabGenius Therapeutics, based in London, seeks a kinetics expert to lead antibody binding characterization and to build a world-class platform from the ground up. You will drive high-resolution kinetic screening and hands-on development of Biacore/BLI workflows, feeding ML models with precise measurements.

You’ll own automated biophysical assays, stress-test binders for clinical readiness, and work with data science to translate sensor data into actionable insights for lead optimization.

Qualifications

  • PhD or MSc with hands-on wet-lab experience in antibody characterization.
  • Expertise in SPR or BLI with kinetic assay design and sensor chip selection.
  • Experience managing large-scale screening campaigns with data integrity.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and binding models.
  • Experience with thermostability assays and analytical protein techniques.
  • Ability to present complex kinetic data to non-experts.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and own our antibody binding platform and instrumentation selection.
  • Lead high-resolution kinetic screening to determine kon, koff, KD for large panels.
  • Perform epitope binning/mapping to support IP filings and coverage.
  • Collaborate with Lab Automation to integrate liquid handling with BLI workflows.
  • Work with Data Science to translate sensorgrams into ML-ready datasets.
  • Design automated biophysical screening assays (HT stability, solubility, self-association).
  • Analyse high-throughput data and feed biophysical data into predictive models.
  • QC analyse and troubleshoot developability experiments with R&D teams.
  • Conduct self-directed research on binding profiles to inform engineering.
  • Maintain thorough experimental records for cross-functional teams.
