Lead Android Engineer

Join an early-stage start-up backed by a highly experienced team and ambitious growth plans, set to double in size in the coming months following a significant multi-million pound funding round.

This is a key hire, their first mobile engineer, where you’ll take ownership of the technical direction and build the mobile function from the ground up.

We're looking for deep technical expertise, as this goes far beyond a typical Android app. You'll be working on complex features such as GPS control, low-level networking, and geo-mapping. Prior experience delivering technically challenging, first-of-their-kind projects will be a strong advantage.

Requirements:

• Proven experience building mobile applications from scratch
• In-depth knowledge of the Android platform and its intricacies
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Hands-on experience with low-level networking
