Job summary

Morris & Young Mechanical is actively seeking an experienced Lead Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to head up installation work across London and the Home Counties. You will run commercial installs from start to finish, overseeing a small on-site team and ensuring all work meets the high standards we proudly stand behind.

Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric experience is preferred, with a strong focus on VRF/VRV systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and installing commercial air conditioning systems (VRF/VRV, splits).
• F-Gas Category 1 certified.
• Experience with Daikin and/or Mitsubishi Electric systems is a strong plus, but comfortable working across brands.
• Ability to lead and mentor on site.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working across commercial sites in London and the Home Counties.

Based in Hertford, Hertfordshire covering London & the Home Counties

Salary: £50,000 (plus benefits below) | Full-time, permanent

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Lead Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to head up our installation work across London and the Home Counties. You'll be running commercial installs from start to finish, overseeing a small team on site, and making sure the work is done to a standard we're proud to put our name to.

We mainly install Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric systems, but our engineers work on anything and everything so broad system experience matters more to us than brand loyalty.

This is an installation-focused role. You won't be expected to work on chillers though if you've got chiller experience too, brilliant, we know how rare that combination is.

Where You'll Be Working

Our sites include The O2, a cluster of law firms across Holborn, several multi-tenanted commercial buildings, and hospital sites real, high-profile commercial and critical environments, not domestic callouts (we don't do domestics, and we're not going to start).

What We're Looking For
