Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a senior Finance/AI transformation leader to shape the future of its global finance function and the systems landscape. You will own end-to-end delivery from prototype to production, align stakeholders, and drive a measurable AI-enabled transformation across processes and platforms.

You will report to the CFO, embedding with global Finance teams, and defining the future operating model for Airwallex’s finance ecosystem in a fast-paced, high-impact setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or forward deployed engineering experience.
• Strong Product Sense: You look at engineering through a commercial lens.
• Comfort with Ambiguity: You enjoy spaces where requirements aren't fully defined.
• Pragmatic Problem Solver: Resourceful, self-directed, focused on delivering outcomes.
• Clear Communication: Discuss technical trade-offs with infra teams and executives.

Responsibilities

• Embed with global Finance teams to identify high-impact use cases.
• Define and own the AI transformation roadmap for Finance.
• Own technical delivery from prototype to production.
• Codify working patterns into reusable building blocks.
• Lead change management and upskilling for new tools.
• Track, measure and communicate outcomes with accountability.
