Job summary

Airwallex seeks a senior Finance technology leader to shape the company’s AI-enabled Finance transformation. Reporting to the CFO, you will architect the Finance systems landscape, define the target state, diagnose gaps, and drive a real-time, scalable transformation across global teams.

You will balance build-versus-buy decisions, align stakeholders on a clear journey, and own end-to-end delivery from prototype to production in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or forward deployed engineering experience.
• Strong product sense with commercial impact and user experience focus.
• Comfort with ambiguity and independent cross-functional work.
• Pragmatic problem solver delivering outcomes despite blockers.
• Clear communication with infrastructure teams and executives.

Responsibilities

• Embed with global Finance teams to identify high-impact use cases.
• Define and own end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for Finance.
• Own delivery from prototype to production; codify patterns for reuse.
• Lead change management and upskilling for new tools adoption.
• Track, measure and report outcomes with accountability.
