Barnhurst Lane Lions FC Development Centre is seeking several age-group coaches to support player development aligned with the Centre's philosophy.

Founded in 2021, Barnhurst Lane Lions FC aims to provide all players access to football regardless of ability.

Having operated successfully for four years, we recently launched our own Development Centre with ambitions to compete and succeed in the Junior Premier League (JPL).

The Centre's goal is to develop players to their highest potential, bridging grassroots football and the professional level.

We are hiring passionate, development-focused lead coaches to join our coaching team.

IMMEDIATE START

Paid coaching roles in Wolverhampton

Pathway to full-time coaching positions

Training sessions are scheduled on Thursdays at Our Lady & St Chads, Old Fallings Ln, Wolverhampton WV10 8BL, with matches on Saturday mornings in the JPL

Main Responsibilities:

1. Support and implement the Development Centre's coaching philosophy.
2. Prepare players for training sessions and matches.
3. Plan and execute high-quality sessions aligned with the Centre's philosophy.
4. Provide weekly session plans to the Head of Centre.
5. Monitor and give feedback on player performance and development.
6. Conduct regular player review sessions.
7. Maintain all necessary qualifications per FA guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Level 2 Coaching Badge (Level 1 considered)
• Safeguarding and Protecting Children certification
• Basic First Aid in Sport
• UEFA B Licence
• FA Youth Award
• Sport-specific degree at university level
• At least 1 year of coaching experience

• Flexible with evenings and weekends
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Well-mannered and approachable
• Capable of meeting deadlines
• Driven to high standards

Additional Requirements:

• DBS clearance (paid for by the company)
