Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain seeks a lead nurse to integrate advanced clinical practice with leadership of the nursing team within Integrated Care Partnership. The post-holder will assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients with acute and chronic illness, lead chronic disease clinics, and carry out medication reviews.

Registration with the NMC, an independent prescriber status, and a relevant Masters/advanced practice qualification are essential, with training plans and appraisals run

Qualifications

• NMC registration with revalidation evidence.
• Masters or advanced practice qualification as required.

Responsibilities

• Clinically lead, mentor and support the nursing team.
• Independently assess, diagnose, treat and discharge or refer patients.
• Run chronic disease clinics and manage treatment plans.
