Housing Plus Group is recruiting an Accountant Rents & Service Charges to support accurate and transparent rent and service charge management across the Group. The post includes leadership of a small team, data integrity, and collaboration with Finance, ICT and operational colleagues to ensure compliant processes.

The role focuses on rent setting, service charge cycles, audit readiness, and customer transparency, contributing to financial resilience and regulatory compliance within the West

Qualifikationen

• Qualified accounting or senior finance experience with rent/service charge focus.
• Knowledge of Rent Standard, tenancy legislation, and regulatory guidance.
• Strong data and financial controls skills.

Aufgaben

• Deliver end-to-end rent and service charge cycle budgeting, billing, reconciliation and year-end statements.
• Support rent setting processes and compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
• Ensure data accuracy and audit readiness across systems and processes.
• Lead and develop a small team of Assistant Accountants.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate charges and improvements.
