Job summary

Burnley Football Club seeks an Academy Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach to develop and deliver a structured S&C framework for its academy players. You will drive the S&C strategy, coordinate with the Academy Sport Scientists, and oversee conditioning for all PDP and YDP squads.

The role requires experience in sport settings, a Bachelor’s in Strength and Conditioning, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. A social media check and Enhanced DBS will be paid for by the club.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver the strength and conditioning strategy alongside the wider MDT to ensure a clear structure for player development.
• Lead the programming and delivery of the strength and conditioning programme for all PDP players (U18s-U21s) in collaboration with the Academy Lead Sport Scientist.
• Lead the programming and delivery of the strength and conditioning programme for all YDP players (U13s-U16s) in collaboration with the Academy Junior Sport Scientist and part-time Strength and Conditioning Coaches.
