The club, formed in 1873, plays its home games at The Thornbury Surfacing Stadium. Chippenham Town FC is deeply committed to the local community through its Academy and Ability Counts team. The club has new facilities that support local businesses and enhance community engagement.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Lead Academy Coach (U10 Boys) based in Chippenham. The Lead Academy Coach will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality coaching sessions, developing individual player skills, and promoting a positive and inclusive team environment. The Coach will also be involved in match day preparations and ensuring the overall well-being and progression of the players in the U10 category.

Qualifications

  • Experience in youth coaching and coaching qualifications (e.g., FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate)
  • Strong understanding of player development and age-appropriate training methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with young players and their parents
  • Passion for football and commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive team environment
  • Knowledge of child safeguarding and welfare best practices
  • First Aid qualification and a valid driving license would be beneficial
