Job summary

Building Careers UK is seeking an experienced Lead AC Engineer to join a well-established M&E contractor delivering high-quality air conditioning and HVAC projects across commercial, industrial and domestic sectors.

In this leadership role you will install, commission, service and maintain systems, lead on-site teams, read drawings, manage safety, and work with clients to ensure on-time delivery and high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in air conditioning installation, service and maintenance.
• Ability to lead engineers on site.
• Valid UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead air conditioning installation, service and maintenance projects.
• Install, commission and maintain AC/HVAC systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Supervise engineers and subcontractors on site.
• Read technical drawings and specifications.
• Complete service reports and project documentation.
• Ensure health & safety compliance.
