Job summary

EMBS Engineering Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a skilled 5-Axis CNC Programmer / Machinist for a permanent role. You will design and optimise 5-axis programs, using HyperMill CAM, and work on high-precision components in a modern facility.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience with Heidenhain and/or FANUC controls, and a track record in precision engineering with tight tolerances. Mon-Thu days, with early finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Heidenhain and/or FANUC controls.
• 5-axis offline CNC programming using HyperMill.
• Experience in precision engineering with tight tolerances.
• HyperMill CAM software experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create robust 5-axis CNC programs offline using HyperMill CAM software.
• Prove out, set up, and run the programs on new 5-Axis machinery.
• Work with Heidenhain and/or FANUC machine controls.
• Collaborate during the upcoming factory relocation to establish lean workflows.
