Job summary

Tru Talent in Swindon is seeking an experienced Van Technician / LCV Technician / Vehicle Technician for a busy workshop. The role involves carrying out mechanical repairs, diagnostics and servicing, with wheels alignment, tyre fitting and warranty work.

We offer 40 hours per week, shifts (days, lates, nights) and a permanent contract. Salary is up to £42,500 per annum plus overtime at 1.5x, with potential career progression and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI Level 3 in LCV/Vehicle Maintenance required.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Attention to detail and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out major and minor mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults.
• Complete servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting.
• Complete warranty work and vehicle documentation.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards.
