Job summary

Stockport Truck Centre Limited in Hyde is seeking a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. You will diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles, and work to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires NVQ3/City & Guilds or equivalent, a valid driving licence, and the candidate must have their own tools; MOT tester is desirable. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am-6pm with Saturday mornings as required, or rotating shift patterns as business dictates.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 / City and Guilds or equivalent.
• MOT Tester certificate desirable but not compulsory.
• Driving licence.
• Applicants must have their own tools.

Role Description

Due to an increase in workload, we are looking to recruit a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician for our Hyde Depot. Based in our busy workshop, the successful candidate will be required to undertake all levels of repair, as well as servicing and fault diagnosis.

Duties

• Maintain the excellent level of service our customers have come to expect
• Complete relevant paperwork to company and industry standards

Hours

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm, with Saturday mornings as and when business dictates OR Rotating shift pattern available - 06:00 - 18:00 Tuesday - Friday - alternate weekends as required
