Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is seeking an experienced LCV Technician to join our client’s team. You will service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles to a high standard within set timescales.

The role requires a Class 1 licence and NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, along with City & Guilds qualification. MOT tester qualification is desirable. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm, pay: £15.18–£17.62 per hour.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Licence is required or you can be put through a course to attain one.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification.
• MOT Tester qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out inspections, MOT preparation, and general repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within set timescales
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Class 1 Licence, if you don't have one, you can be put through a course to attain one.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification
• MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential)

THE HOURS:

This is a Permanent role.

Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate between £15.18 - 17.62 per hour.
