Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is seeking an experienced LCV Technician to join our client’s team. You will service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles to a high standard within set timescales.

The role requires a Class 1 licence and NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, along with City & Guilds qualification. MOT tester qualification is desirable. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm, pay: £15.18–£17.62 per hour.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Licence is required or you can be put through a course to attain one.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification.
• MOT Tester qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of light commercial vehicles (vans).
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out inspections, MOT preparation, and general repairs.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within set timescales.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately.

Education

Class 1 Licence
