Job summary

Octane Recruitment is advertising an LCV Technician vacancy in Glasgow. You will join a major dealer group known for quality service and a strong team environment. The role focuses on servicing and fault diagnosis with opportunities for overtime and progression.

Salary up to £40,000 basic, plus bonus and overtime DOE, with a Monday–Friday pattern and Saturdays on a rota. A Full UK driving license and Level 3 (or equivalent) qualifications are preferred. MOT license is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ/IMI/ATA/City & Guilds Level 3 preferred, Level 2 with experience also considered.
• MOT licence beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, may include warranty work.
• MOT testing duties if qualified.

LCV Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

LCV Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, ATA or City & Guilds level 3 ideally but we will also consider level 2 with a lot of experience (If you’re a level 2 Vehicle Technician with main dealership experience then definitely apply!)
• MOT license would be beneficial but not essential
