Job summary

Eastern Western Motor Group is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team in the UK. You will perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on engines, transmissions, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

You will conduct thorough vehicle inspections, use diagnostic tools, manage parts, and complete comprehensive documentation, including VHC reports. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity in a busy workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., oil changes, tyre rotations) and complex repairs on engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, use diagnostic tools to identify issues, and collaborate with colleagues to avoid unresolved faults.
• Recommend, order, receive, and install appropriate replacement parts, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
• Accurately complete job cards, document all services, repairs, parts used, and submit Vehicle Health Check (VHC) reports.
• Adhere to quality control standards and safety requirements to ensure repairs are reliable, safe, and productive.

• Documentation & Reporting: Accurately complete job cards, document all services, repairs, parts used, and submit Vehicle Health Check (VHC) reports.
• Quality & Safety Standards: Adhere to quality control standards, ensure repairs are reliable and safe, meet efficiency and productivity targets, and maintain a focus on health and safety for yourself and others.
