Job summary

Framestore is seeking a Layout Artist to join our team in London, with opportunities for mid and senior level artists from May 2025. The role focuses on CG camera animation, cinematography-led shot composition, and blocking to pre-visualise sequences for downstream CG work.

You will be responsible for camera/assets staging, overseeing previs/postvis ingestion, setup and maintenance of conforms, and maintaining shot content for animation.

About the role

This is an existing role within our team and we are potentially looking for multiple artists across mid and senior levels from May 2025.

The layout artist is responsible for CG camera animation using cinematography principles, shot composition and character blocking to pre-visualise shots before the beginning of animation and allowing up stream CG departments to use as the foundation for shot construction.
