Job description

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in Cambridgeshire, for an experienced employment lawyer to join them on a full-time and permanent basis.

You will be able to advise public sector clients on employment, education and governance matters, including being able to attend court and/or tribunal undertaking advocacy as required.

Previous UK local government experience as a property lawyer is an essential requirement.

To apply you will be:

• An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with minimum 2 years’ PQE Able to demonstrate previous experience handling a caseload of employment matters in a local government environment Able to attend the office in Cambridgeshire on a hybrid basis of 2 days per week in the office

The salary for this role is £50,790 - £58,168 per annum, dependent on experience.
