Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Platform Engineering professional to support the Regulatory team with lawful interception across multiple networks. You will participate in deployment, testing, and maintenance of the LI system, working closely with LEAs to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with Viasat network roadmaps.

The role emphasizes LI expertise, security clearances and cross-team coordination. Ideal candidates have experience with 3G-5G call scenarios, IP traffic analysis, and networking

Qualifications

• Experience with lawful interception on mobile networks and other access technologies.
• Knowledge of 3G-5G voice and data core call scenarios and signalling.
• Networking qualification (Cisco, Juniper) and familiarity with security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, deployment and testing of the lawful interception system.
• Collaborate with LEAs to meet regulatory requirements and maintain compliance.
• Maintain LI system roadmap aligned with the network roadmap.
• Coordinate third-party suppliers for LI infrastructure delivery.
• Provide LI testing support in integration and test environments.
• Ensure ongoing maintenance and operational state of LI equipment.
• Analyze testing results and report status to key customers.
• Assist Regulatory team with warrant requests and regulatory coordination.
