phs Besafe in Wickford is seeking a Laundry Operative to support loading/unloading, machine operation and quality checks. The role involves heavy lifting and manual handling, with a 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule and a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Unload customer garments and complete quality checks.
• Load laundry machines and run operations to ensure high quality cleaning.
• Heavy lifting and manual handling are involved.
• Transfer cleaned loads to dryers and inspect garments for repairs or replacements.
• You are supplied with tools and equipment to provide quality service.
• You will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the laundry.

Full-Time Permanent Position.

Monday - Friday 40 Hours Per Week 6.30am to 15.00pm

You will help us serve the needs of our customers, undertaking quality checks, machine loading and operation and goods in/out duties. You will be promoting our core values with great customer care and showcasing your skills and professionalism.

The Laundry Operative role at phs Besafe will involve:

• You will help off load our customers garments and complete quality checks.
• You will be loading our laundry machines and running through all operations to ensure the highest quality clean.
• The role involves heavy lifting and a high level of manual handling.
• Once cleaned you will be transferring the load to the dryers before carrying out inspections and identifying if garments need repairs or replacing.
• You are supplied with all the tools and equipment you’ll need to provide the best quality service to our customers.
• You will be vital in the day to day running of the laundry.
