Job summary

MSA Safety is seeking a Service Centre Operative to support all operational processes within the laundry service centre. You will be trained across multiple tasks, ensuring the smooth handling, processing and dispatch of customer garments and textiles to required standards.

Where applicable, operatives with a valid driving licence may undertake deliveries and collections to and from customer sites. Attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing items.
• Ability to make quick, effective decisions in busy environments.
• Maintain accurate paperwork trails and SAP documentation.
• Manual handling of laundry bags and safe lifting practices.
• Capable of working under pressure and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, check, and sort customer items, tag and document in SAP before washing.
• Operate washing and drying machinery safely and correctly.
• Inspect garments for quality and report defects in SAP.
• Pack and label completed orders for delivery or pickup.
• Maintain accurate records at all stages of the process.
