Job summary

Bupa's Leominster Care Home is seeking a part-time Laundry Assistant. The role is based at 44 Bargates, Leominster, HR6 8EY, with shifts 8am–4pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and a permanent contract. Salary ranges from £13.10 to £14.10 per hour depending on experience.

You will wash, dry, iron and repair clothing, maintain linen stocks, and ensure a clean, comfortable environment for residents. Joining a supportive team, you’ll contribute to person-centred care and the wellbeing of those

Key Responsibilities

You’ll help us make health happen by: Always maintaining high standards of laundry within our home. Keeping our resident’s looking and feeling great; you will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing and repairing items of clothing as needed. Maintaining linen stocks for day to day use around the home, you’ll raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper as you go.

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
